Our Story

Randy Wiersma opened the doors to Randy’s Body Shop in 1982 with the help of his wife, Dianne, after discovering a need for top-notch collision repair work, and a strong desire to perform it. As the rumor goes, Randy became a quick learner as a result of his frequent need to repair his own vehicle (for research, of course). Through his “research” efforts, Randy was able to build a business rooted in hard work, dedication and the patience to perform the BEST quality repair work around, every time.

Randy's Family

Randy’s Body Shop has always been a family business. Today, it is maintained by Randy’s sons Brad and Kyle, who grew up with the same repair genes that motivated their father. With a continued dedication to advanced training, manufacturer certifications and excellent customer service, we are proud to say 95% of all repair work is completed at our facility by our trained and experienced staff.

Today, the mission at Randy’s is the same as it was when the shop first opened nearly 40 years ago: the highest quality repair work possible backed with excellent customer service. Being a local, family owned business, our customers are more to us than work orders; they are also our friends, neighbors and fellow community members. And if they are in our shop, it’s for a reason. It’s our goal to get them back on the road as quickly and safely as possible.

Part of the reason for our success is our dedication to advanced training. Randy’s Body Shop is a member of the Axalta Business Council, a group of 20-25 body shops across the country that meet regularly to study trends in repairs and learn from manufacturers.

This includes advanced training in an effort to obtain, and maintain, manufacturer certifications for specific vehicle repairs. Through these certifications, our staff of technicians have proven they possess all the necessary tools and have undergone advanced training necessary to meet the strict requirements of the manufacturers.

Through these partnerships, the team at Randy’s is continually gaining knowledge on the trends in modern manufacturing, making it easier to work on newer makes and models. The ability to work alongside other body shops and share tools of the trade helps to keep us ahead of the curve when it comes to repair work.

At Randy’s Body Shop, we operate with one goal in mind: to be the customer’s shop for life. Through these new and innovative programs coupled with our dedication to total customer service, we are proving that we are much more than a “you wreck it, we fix it” shop. At the end of the day, we want each and every one of our customers to not only be happy with their vehicle upon its return, but also feel just as safe inside the vehicle as they did the day they drove it home for the first time.

Our Community

We believe in the power of helping one another. From working to get our community members back on the road quickly and safely, to supporting the community through our many philanthropic efforts.

Each year Randy’s works with the Special Olympics of Kentucky’s Big Brown Truck Pull on Paducah’s Riverfront. Randy’s participation in this event is in honor of their son David. Funds raised by this event are donated to Special Olympics to provide year-round physical fitness opportunities for individuals in our region with special needs.

In addition, Randy’s Body Shop is also involved with area schools’ Project Graduation, serves as board members for the WKCTC Auto Body Course, sponsors the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association Boys & Girls Ranch, sponsors several McCracken County school sports, and sponsors the River Tin Rod Run Car Show.

We are proud to be a second-generation, family owned business serving the folks of Paducah and beyond. We remain invested in the wonderful people who have trusted us to take care of them over the years.
